On 5th July, the Echo Hill School Wakiso community came together to celebrate a very special occasion – the birthday of our beloved Director, Dr. Ssegawa Robert. The joyful event took place at the school’s parking yard, and it was a moment of happiness, laughter, and heartfelt appreciation.
This memorable celebration was organized by the school administration, under the able leadership of the school bursar, Ms. Kisakye Sandra. She worked closely with a dedicated team that included:
- Mr. Gumisiriza Benon – Director of Studies (DOS)
- Ms. Nakasolya Catherine – Head Teacher
- Mr. Manige Hilary – Committee Member
- Ms. Ampire Ritah – Assistant Bursar
The day was well-coordinated, and everything went smoothly. At exactly 1:20 PM, delicious meals were served by Field of Dreams (FODU), led by Ms. Esther. Everyone enjoyed the tasty food as they relaxed and prepared for the entertainment ahead.
One of the highlights of the celebration was the performance by the school’s talented performing arts students. They entertained the guests by miming different songs, bringing energy and excitement to the event.
As the sun began to set, at around 6:30 PM, the Director, Dr. Ssegawa Robert, was handed the microphone to address the invited guests. Standing proudly beside him was his supportive wife. His speech was warm and full of gratitude. He thanked God for the gift of life and appreciated the organizing committee for their hard work in making the day a success.
The event ended on a sweet note – with cake-cutting and sharing. Dr. Ssegawa personally served those around him, showing his humility and love for the school community.
It was truly a beautiful celebration filled with joy, unity, and appreciation. Happy Birthday once again to our dear Director!
